Breakfast Anytime!

It’s the most important meal of the day so why not have breakfast anytime! There are several ways to enjoy breakfast foods for any meal. Your morning favorites translate to all parts of the day. A fried egg compliments brothy soups, green salads, rice dishes, steaks, hamburgers and even pizza. Creative versions of potato hash can be used as a popular French fry alternative. Waffles or pancakes can be filled and/or topped with a variety of options: meats, vegetables, herbs and spices, gravies, vinaigrettes and even ice cream for a delicious twist on dessert. Egg On Top

  • Toss romaine hearts with hand-crafted Caesar dressing, grated Parmesan cheese, freshly cracked black pepper, and crisp croutons; top individual servings with a fried egg
  • Place a perfectly poached egg over steamed spears of asparagus; drizzle with Dijon-tarragon vinaigrette
  • Top baked ratatouille with a fried egg and fresh basil
  • Stir-fry cooked rice, soy sauce green onions, and shredded carrots; top with fried egg
  • Put a fried egg on top of your favorite pasta or pizza: try basil pesto linguine, fettuccine carbonara, or classic Margherita

Potato Hash

  • Brown chorizo; add onions and garlic, saute until soft; mix in cubed potatoes and steamed kale; cook until crunchy on the outside, tender inside
  • Cook bacon until crisp; sauté diced red bell pepper and dice onions in bacon drippings; stir in cubed sweet potatoes, bacon, and thyme; cook until browned
  • Roast potatoes with fennel seeds; sauté onions and chopped fennel until soft; mix all; add smoked salmon, baby dill, and Italian parsley

Waffles & Pancakes

  • Mix cornmeal, oil, eggs, and milk; form into small patties and grill; top arepas with carnitas, red onions, diced avocado, diced tomato, and cilantro
  • Fill whole-wheat crêpes with sautéed spinach, sliced onions, and ricotta-Swiss cheese sauce
    Layer sage-accented waffles with roasted butternut squash slices, melted butter, and pecans; garnish with fried sage leaves
  • Stir chopped sausage, cooked potatoes, and chopped apples into waffle batter; top waffles with sautéed sausage and apples
  • Drizzle vanilla custard on crêpes; top with strawberries and whipped cream; fold and serve
