2 t    Gelatine Powder

1 T   Warm Water

1 C   Cream

1 C   Milk

2 T   Sugar

1       Vanilla Pod, split lengthways



Stand the gelatin powder in the warm water. Set aside. Place the cream, milk, sugar, and split vanilla pod into a saucepan and bring to a very gentle simmer over a low heat, until the sugar is dissolved, stirring constantly. When the mixture is just starting to simmer (small bubbles appear around the edges), remove from the heat and dissolve the gelatin into the warm mixture. Stand the mixture for a while to cool. Pour the slightly cool mixture between 4 ramekins or serving glasses and refrigerate until set (at least a few hours, e.g., 4). To serve: remove from the refrigerator 5 minutes before serving and turn out onto plates. Top with berries and berry sauces.
